MUA swatch fest (picture heavy) *review*

I only have a few of the MUA single eye shadows but after getting 3 more the other day I decided I really wanted to review them properly, if you haven't already tried them then you really should!

The individual eye shadows are just £1 each and you get 2g of product in each one and are available on their website and at superdrug stores ^_^
the shades i have are:
1* Shade 2 Pearl (frosty shimmery white perfect for inner corner highlight)
2* Shade 3 Pearl (Gunmetal Silver Shimmery)
3*Shade 5 Pearl (High shimmer lime green with slight yellow undertone)
4*Shade 7 Pearl (Shimmery Forest green)
5*Shade 8  Pearl (low shimmer dark turquoise)
6*Shade 10 Pearl (Dark Shimmery navy with purple shot through)
7*Shade 12 Pearl (Red based brown with green shimmer)
8*Shade 13 Pearl (deep purple with black undertone)

The Packaging is really nice and simple, doesn't feel flimsy at all and is minimal compared to the amount of product you get so no wasted space in your makeup bag!

The Pictures are as close to the real colors as i could get  (due to lighting and such) ^_^

*edit* i forgot to say, the swatches are on the left no primer in the middle black underneath and on the right with UD primer potion ^_^

Shade 2
Beautiful for inner corner highlights.

Shade 3
gorgeous when paired with black with this in the center of your lid.

Shade 5
Awesome lime green, catches light beautifully to make it almost glow!

Shade 7
Perfectly paired with shade 5 to add depth!

Shade 8
Gorgeous deep turquoise especially when paired with purple.
Shade 10
Really pretty navy color really makes silver colors pop!
Shade 12
Possibly my favorite color ever, really weird color and very eye catching .
Shade 13
Gorgeous black based purple picture isn't doing it justice at all shifts from black to purple when the light hits it.

overall though these get a 4.9 out of 5 for me there's just something missing.. names! i love colors that have names  as it makes them easier to identify.

So i hope you like my swatches and i do really like the eye shadows that i have and will probably get more when i can  so i can try some more colors out  ^_^

Eau La La Liner Rainbow *Review + Makeup Look*

I adore Rainbows and bright colors, so when Sleek came out with thier new eau La La Liners i knew i needed them in my makeup box, they have 20 colors avaliable, and i splurged out on 7 of them i went slightly mad when i got in there, and as they had only just been put out there werent any open ones to test so i had to wing it, though i am VERY happy with them with only a few complaints which i will explain later.

The colors i bought were:
1*white noise (matte white)
2*Canary yellow (matte mid toned bright yellow)
3*Pumpkin (matte mid toned bright orange)
4*Moulin \Rouge (matte mid toned red)
5*Rasin (matte deep red toned purple)
6*Tonic (matte with slight shimmer forest green)
7*Cobalt Blue (matte sky blue)

As you can see from the swatch picture these are VERY pigmented and I have to admit that picture is almopst the exact color they are in person apart from the green which is slightly more greeny (camera made it go blueish.) the packaging is nice too ^_^

Pro's:
.Good value for money £3.99 each compared to a mac pencil which is £14 admitidley they have the more muted everyday colors but thats why i adore these because they are so bright!
.very long lasting and they will NOT budge they only started to smudge when i rubbed my hand franticly, and when i tried to wash them with water they stayed beautifully.
.waterproof, as i said just, they dont move XD

Con's:
.they are a bit waxy which can make applying them a bit awkward until they soften up a little.
.when i opened mine the ends often snapped off and the red in particular still does and sharpening them is a nightmare as the pencils body material is plastic from what I can tell but with a bit of work you can get them sharpened up nicely. but be warned they are a CHORE to sharpen sometimes which really annoys me >_>
.color choices, as much as I adore the color choices I wish there where some more, like bright green and royal blue or lavendar and really bright purple but hey maybe one day they will as they are still new.

The Look I Created

Rainbow liner

Eyes:
all sleek liners mentioned
Mac bare study paint pot (as a lid base)

I wore this look the next day and it has so far lasted all day with little wear, again I'm extremely impressed!

Overall I adore these liners and am using them allot since I got them and will be buying more unfortunately for my wallet lol

I really suggest you try them out and I bought the black one and another blue after I originally started this post so I will be doing a review and test on the black as black never lasts on me so this will be interesting XD

Vampesque *makeup look*

After playing around with my makeup for quite literally hours I decided to actually create a look, it definately looks vampy and the contact lenses add to the eerie feel I think,

I love red as you may be able to tell from my hair, and I have an abundance of red eyeshadows and such so i just went mad with them and had no real direction on what i wanted.

The contact lenses I feel really finished off the look for me I think they look amazing and I adore the etheral look for eyes!

So for the products I used,
for my eyes there is:
*Mac Paint pot Soft Ochre
*Sugarpill loose shadow in Asylum
*sugarpill pressed shadow in Tako, Love+ and Bulletproof
*Maybelline Eyestudio gel eyeliner
*Rimmel sexy curves mascara
for the lips:
*Sleek True color lipstick in cranberry (christmas limited edition sorry)
*lipcote!
and for my face:
*Body Shop extra virgin minerals loose powder foundation
*Collection 2000 concealer
*Sleek Blusher Fenberry (same christmas limited edition)

So overall im soo pleased looks allot nicer in person as my camera skills seem to be failing me today ^_^

i hope you like it and if you have any questions let me know and ill be happy to awnser ^_^

Little Jem *Review*

A week ago I went shopping for makeup but just went for anything I liked the look of after finding nothing I really liked I saw some Barry M brushes.
I had walked past them a few times dismissing them until i saw a little eyeliner brush for £2.99 and c
ouldnt resist getting it!
And it turns out it's the best decision I made of the day.

it is an incredible brush and is a bargain!
the brush is BRIGHT turquoise and has black bristles, the overall quality if it is actually really good, and it is brilliant at its job.
The brush itself is an angled liner brush and its tiny!
It allowed me to do not only a nice thick line but also tiny delicate detailed lines too.

overall I adore this brush and would recomend you get one yourself!
And for £2.99 its an awesome price
its avaliable from superdrug along with others from the same collection that I will be buying as soon as I can!

*hugs* Becky x
