MUA swatch fest (picture heavy) *review*

I only have a few of the MUA single eye shadows but after getting 3 more the other day I decided I really wanted to review them properly, if you haven't already tried them then you really should!

The individual eye shadows are just £1 each and you get 2g of product in each one and are available on their website and at superdrug stores ^_^
the shades i have are:
1* Shade 2 Pearl (frosty shimmery white perfect for inner corner highlight)
2* Shade 3 Pearl (Gunmetal Silver Shimmery)
3*Shade 5 Pearl (High shimmer lime green with slight yellow undertone)
4*Shade 7 Pearl (Shimmery Forest green)
5*Shade 8  Pearl (low shimmer dark turquoise)
6*Shade 10 Pearl (Dark Shimmery navy with purple shot through)
7*Shade 12 Pearl (Red based brown with green shimmer)
8*Shade 13 Pearl (deep purple with black undertone)

The Packaging is really nice and simple, doesn't feel flimsy at all and is minimal compared to the amount of product you get so no wasted space in your makeup bag!

The Pictures are as close to the real colors as i could get  (due to lighting and such) ^_^

*edit* i forgot to say, the swatches are on the left no primer in the middle black underneath and on the right with UD primer potion ^_^

Shade 2
Beautiful for inner corner highlights.

Shade 3
gorgeous when paired with black with this in the center of your lid.

Shade 5
Awesome lime green, catches light beautifully to make it almost glow!

Shade 7
Perfectly paired with shade 5 to add depth!

Shade 8
Gorgeous deep turquoise especially when paired with purple.
Shade 10
Really pretty navy color really makes silver colors pop!
Shade 12
Possibly my favorite color ever, really weird color and very eye catching .
Shade 13
Gorgeous black based purple picture isn't doing it justice at all shifts from black to purple when the light hits it.

overall though these get a 4.9 out of 5 for me there's just something missing.. names! i love colors that have names  as it makes them easier to identify.

So i hope you like my swatches and i do really like the eye shadows that i have and will probably get more when i can  so i can try some more colors out  ^_^

Vampesque *makeup look*

After playing around with my makeup for quite literally hours I decided to actually create a look, it definately looks vampy and the contact lenses add to the eerie feel I think,

I love red as you may be able to tell from my hair, and I have an abundance of red eyeshadows and such so i just went mad with them and had no real direction on what i wanted.

The contact lenses I feel really finished off the look for me I think they look amazing and I adore the etheral look for eyes!

So for the products I used,
for my eyes there is:
*Mac Paint pot Soft Ochre
*Sugarpill loose shadow in Asylum
*sugarpill pressed shadow in Tako, Love+ and Bulletproof
*Maybelline Eyestudio gel eyeliner
*Rimmel sexy curves mascara
for the lips:
*Sleek True color lipstick in cranberry (christmas limited edition sorry)
*lipcote!
and for my face:
*Body Shop extra virgin minerals loose powder foundation
*Collection 2000 concealer
*Sleek Blusher Fenberry (same christmas limited edition)

So overall im soo pleased looks allot nicer in person as my camera skills seem to be failing me today ^_^

i hope you like it and if you have any questions let me know and ill be happy to awnser ^_^

Little Jem *Review*

A week ago I went shopping for makeup but just went for anything I liked the look of after finding nothing I really liked I saw some Barry M brushes.
I had walked past them a few times dismissing them until i saw a little eyeliner brush for £2.99 and c
ouldnt resist getting it!
And it turns out it's the best decision I made of the day.

it is an incredible brush and is a bargain!
the brush is BRIGHT turquoise and has black bristles, the overall quality if it is actually really good, and it is brilliant at its job.
The brush itself is an angled liner brush and its tiny!
It allowed me to do not only a nice thick line but also tiny delicate detailed lines too.

overall I adore this brush and would recomend you get one yourself!
And for £2.99 its an awesome price
its avaliable from superdrug along with others from the same collection that I will be buying as soon as I can!
